View fullsize Cutting in a new roofcurb. This 100 year old house did not have a prior heating or cooling system.
View fullsize This customer wanted his condenser moved around the corner. Ok. I can do that.
View fullsize Sometimes a little bit of custom pipe work is needed.
View fullsize Copper work should be straight and plumb.
View fullsize Running some new ductwork in an attic that had none prior.
View fullsize Sometimes the job runs late.
View fullsize When a refrigerant leaks pops up, cross your fingers and hope it's repairable. It's all about accessibility.
View fullsize Sometimes the ductwork is under the house. At least it was cool under there.
View fullsize Always a clean install.
View fullsize Always a clean install.
View fullsize Always a clean install.
View fullsize No more cold nights or hot summers for these folks. They invested in a complete upgrade for their home. This house is 100 years old and had no prior system.
View fullsize Here's a before and after. I sealed all the exposed ductwork free of charge of course!
View fullsize An incredible find. This is an example what non licensed work looks like. Never choose the cheapest bid without doing your research first. You would be surprised how much of this poor workmanship is out there and the customer never finds out until i
View fullsize Performed a little miracle here. I found a refrigerant leak inside the wall of the house. I removed the siding on the outside of the house and made the repair. I love it when it all works out.
View fullsize Some companies offer a low price just to get in  your door and then make that BIG Sale. This unit was condemned due to cracks in the Heat Exchanger. These "cracks" were merely rust deposits. As you can see I used a wire brush to expose the meta
View fullsize 20 degrees. That's what were looking for. We want a 20 degree difference from the air entering the filter grill and the air exiting the supply grill. Also referred to as the "temperature split" which is verified on every cooling maintenance.
View fullsize This customer was having heater issues. Here's an excellent example of a plugged pilot orifice and why preventative maintenance is needed.
View fullsize Replacing worn parts found on a maintenance can save you from a mid summer or winter nightmare!
View fullsize Bakersfield is a dirty town. Don't forget about the one appliance that keeps your home comfortable. Have your heater maintained yearly to keep the bugs and dirt out.
View fullsize This system is 30 years old! With proper bi annual maintenance, it almost looks new.
View fullsize Every home contains dirt and dust. This motor shows the evidence of leaking ductwork and lack of filter changing. If left in this condition this is what blows in to your house! A good maintenance and duct sealing would fix this up.
View fullsize Here's a before and after of my maintenance work. I'm a firm believer in keeping your system maintained twice a year. This is a clear reason why.
View fullsize Hard to believe this is the same unit.
View fullsize Servicing commercial units is a joy. I can keep these units clean year round!
View fullsize Another beautiful day in Goleta.  A great place to work during the summer! This day the high was 66!
View fullsize I love my office. It has the best view!
View fullsize Some of the best views are from the roof!
View fullsize When my daughter Madison discovered that my new work van had a camera. This is one of my favorite pictures.
View fullsize Sometimes I meet new friends.
View fullsize He was a silly goose.
View fullsize It's fun to see ancient equipment still running. I could only imagine what it was like to work on this stuff on a daily basis.
View fullsize Your main control board. The brains of the whole operation!
View fullsize Our beautiful sun. I love this weather right now. It's perfect for service work.
View fullsize Upgrades! Believe it or not, your air conditioner may have an upgrade. This is supposed to be a water proof High Limit on a Rheem package unit. As you can see the old design still got water in it and caused a burn smell and a visit from our local Ba
View fullsize Replacing reversing valves can be tricky. They must match exactly and not be damaged from excessive heat while brazing. The left side is the bad reversing valve.
View fullsize I like to look at splitters in the elbow for this very reason. I would say I find leaks about 50% of the time. This was a big one. A little fix for a major problem.
View fullsize This customer had limited space in her backyard so we installed this condensing unit on the roof.
View fullsize Trying out some new hat colors. I like this one.
View fullsize Replacing a leaking coil is always best and can save you from ongoing service calls!
View fullsize Sealed and ready to go.
View fullsize This Goodman design is notorious for having cracked Heat Exchangers. If you have one I highly recommend a Heater Service!
View fullsize Rust prevents a good connection. This was discovered on a standard Heating Service. A prime example of why service is important even if your system is working.
View fullsize Another Heater Service find! Some issues can be found before they become an emergency call.
View fullsize With a little bit of knowledge and some dissecting I was able to find and clear this refrigerant restriction.
View fullsize Removing a plugged Evap. Coil is the only way to properly chemically clean it. Changing your filter regularly will help prevent this costly repair.
View fullsize These cracked solder joints will cause a lot of intermittent problems for your system. Your control board is the main brain of the system. You’ll want to replace this!
View fullsize Another Cooling Service find. You’ll be surprised on how many problems are caused simply by not changing your filter regularly.
View fullsize More hat color experimenting.
View fullsize A little bit of rerouting to make it work.

View fullsize Mobile homes are sometimes challenging but we still take care of them.
View fullsize I guess this cooler hadn’t been serviced in a while.
View fullsize This condensate pan is so rusted out you can see the pavement right through it. A custom pan was made to replace it.
View fullsize Definitely the dirtiest blower wheel ever.
View fullsize One of my newest tools to find cracks in solder joints. I guess it comes with age.
View fullsize This is a direct result of your dog urinating on your condenser coil. I was unable to wash this coil because it would have fallen apart. If you notice that your dog is urinating on your coil I would recommend putting up a gate. This also occurs from
View fullsize I’m a family man that owns a local small business. Here’s is my focus in life.
View fullsize Sometimes you literally have to get in to your work.
View fullsize I don’t cut corners on warranty customers. Warranty customers get the same Empire treatment as everyone else.
View fullsize These Evap. coil leaks are everywhere!
View fullsize I found that the prior contractor had installed the wrong size blower wheel and wrong size motor for this unit. Its not very hard to do it the right way people….
View fullsize This was a little challenging but its installed solid as a rock!
View fullsize New belts, new motor, new blade. Fun in the sun….
View fullsize Believe it or not, this is from a plugged filter.
View fullsize Why yes, I do install and fix coolers.
View fullsize Clean and plumb is always my goal. This pic was before I finished the condensate line but it is the only one I have.
